Nissan Magnite India Launch: The price of Nissan’s new sub compact SUV Magnite is going to be officially revealed today. If we go according to the leaked prices of Nissan Magnite before it came out, then the ex showroom price of Magnite can start from Rs. 5.50 lakhs. If this happens, the Nissan Magnite will be the cheapest SUV in India. Nissan Magnite can be booked at a booking amount of Rs. 11000.
Magnite was unveiled in India in October. The sale of Nissan Magnite will first start in India, later it will be launched in the global market. The SUV will compete with Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Ford Ecosport, Mahindra XUV 300, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Honda WR-V and the newly launched Kia Sonet.
According to the reports, trims with Magnet’s naturally aspirated petrol model include XE, XL, XV, XV Premium. The Turbo model will come in XL Turbo, XV Turbo, XV Premium Turbo, XL Turbo CVT, XV Turbo CVT and XV Premium Turbo CVT trims. The front of the Nissan Magnite has large single piece grille, LED shaped DRLs with L shape, LED bi-projector headlamps with segmented first sleek look with LED light guide, LED fog lamps. The Magnite uses faux skid plates, split wraparound LED tail lamps and dual tone alloy wheels.
Engine and mileage
The Nissan Magnite will get two engine options. The first B4D will be a naturally aspirated 1.0 liter petrol engine and will be accompanied by Nissan’s dual VVT system. This engine will be able to generate 72 hp power and 96 Nm peak torque and will give a mileage of 18.75 kpl. With this the transmission will be 5 speed manual. The other option will be the 1.0 liter turbo petrol engine, which will generate 100 hp power. This engine with a 5-speed manual transmission will give a torque of 160 Nm and a mileage of 20 kpl, while a CVT gearbox will have a torque of 152 Nm and a mileage of 17.7 kpl.
Interior & Tech Features
Premium features of the cabin of the Nissan Magnite include an 8 inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, segment first 360 degree surround view monitor, 7 inch TFT instrument cluster with inbuilt tire pressure monitor etc. Safety features of the SUV include ABS with EBD, traction control, hill start assist, dual airbags, vehicle dynamics control, etc.
In select variants of SUV, the company will also offer ‘Tech Pack’, which will be optional. It includes wireless smartphone charging pad, air purifier, JBL speakers, puddle lamps and ambient mood lighting features. These features will be kept separately as an accessory package.
