Recently, the Indo-Japanese carmaker introduced the Swift hatchback with a new, more powerful engine, better styling and many more features. In the coming months, the company will introduce new-generation models of the Celerio hatchback and the Vitara Brezza sub-4 meter SUV. If the news is to be believed then the 2021 Maruti Celerio will arrive in the month of May and the 2021 Maruti Vitara Brezza will come around the festive season (Diwali).
Ready for a generation change, the Maruti Celerio will move from the existing architecture to the brand new Heartect platform. The leaked photos reveal that the hatchback will retain its tall-boy stance. This time the Celerio will be bigger and spacier than the current generation. If you talk about design changes, then new grille, updated headlamps, bumpers and taillamps can be given in it.
Many such features will be given in the interior of the hatchback that can attract the attention of the customers. It will include a 7.0-inch SmartPlay Studio infotainment system, new dashboard and instrument cluster, steering mounted controls and automatic climate unit. The 2021 Maruti Celerio will come with 83bhp, 1.2L petrol and 68bhp, 1.0L petrol engine and 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox.
Rumor has it that the 2021 Maruti Vitara Brezza will be based on the existing architecture or modified version of Suzuki’s Heart platform. A major update will be made under its hood. The new generation model will be made available with a 1.5L diesel engine.
Reports suggest the sub-compact SUV will feature a 1.5L K15B naturally aspirated petrol engine (104bhp / 138Nm) with a strong lightweight hybrid system. Many unique features can be given in the new Vitara Brezza. In this, you can be given a new digital instrument cluster with car connected technology and wireless phone charging and new infotainment system.
