Mahindra e-Alfa Cargo electric three-wheeler has been launched in India at Rs 1.44 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This electric three-wheeler will be sold at 300 outlets across the country. Mahindra is also offering 1 year/unlimited kms warranty on the e-Alpha Cargo.
Talking about the specifications, the Mahindra e-Alfa Cargo electric three-wheeler gets a 1.5kW electric motor, thanks to which it can achieve a top speed of 25 kmph. The company claims that it can give a range of 80 km in a single charge. In its statement, Mahindra has claimed that running the e-Alpha Cargo will cost just 59 paise per kilometer and it has been ascertained by the company from some standard calculations that it will increase the fuel cost by Rs 60,000 per kilometer as compared to the diesel cargo three-wheeler. According to the company, the motor of this electric cargo vehicle is capable of delivering a peak power output of 1.5kW. It gets a dual-speed manual transmission, which ensures 7-degree gradability. As we mentioned, the payload capacity of the e-Alfa Cargo is 310 kg. It comes equipped with a fully digital instrument cluster. This electric cargo three-wheeler can be charged with the standard 48V/15A charger that comes with it.<!–
