rushlane has reported in its report that the Kia EV6 all-electric vehicle will be brought in two powertrain configurations. It will have 77.4 kWh for the long range, while 58 kWh for the standard range. The company will bring GT Line and GT variants, which will be available in both 2WD and AWD options. According to the report, this car can be launched in the month of June.
The Kia EV6 is said to have a dual motor setup with a 77.4 kWh battery pack. It gives 576hp power and 740Nm torque. The Kia EV6 GT variant can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds. Its top speed is up to 260 km/h. This speed and power take it even further than the Porsche Taycan 4S.
However, it is not yet clear which battery variant will be launched in India. The report says that the upcoming EV6 will get a new Kia logo, bigger headlamps and tiger nose front grille. It gets an aerodynamic design with swept back windshield, angular DRLs, sloping sea pillar and roof spoiler.
Inside the car, it is said to get the latest technology with slim dashboard, HD screen and instrument cluster.
The Kia EV6 is positioned on the EGMP platform. The EGMP platform is called the Electric-Global Modular Platform. The company also shares it with the Hyundai Ioniq. The Kia EV6 is said to have an 800V charging architecture, which allows it to charge from 10 to 80 percent in just 18 minutes. This car can give a range of up to 100 km in just 4.5 minutes of charging.
