Ather Energy scooters are being liked a lot in India. In such a situation, the company has now taken a big step in Delhi. The company expects an increase in sales after the opening of the outlet in Delhi. At the same time, the company has installed charging stations at many places.
Ather 450x
Ather Energy has officially expanded its reach in the national capital with the inauguration of its first retail outlet Ather Space in Lajpat Nagar, Delhi today. This is the 10th such outlet of the Bengaluru-based electric scooter maker across the country. The outlet, which currently showcases Ather’s flagship electric two-wheelers 450 Plus and 450X, will cater to customers who are looking to buy, service and even recharge their electric scooters.
The outlet has a dedicated zone where existing Ather customers can come and charge their vehicles. Ather Energy has also announced that the 450X and Ather 450 Plus electric two-wheelers will be available for test ride and purchase at this center from now on. Ather has announced that the ex-showroom price of the 450X electric scooter will be Rs 1,32,426 in Delhi, while the price of its 450 Plus scooter will be Rs 1,13,416.

Price drop after Fame 2
The revised price for Ather two-wheelers comes after the FAME II revisions, which included a further reduction in the prices of all-electric two-wheelers along with a 50% increase in subsidy. The company claims that owners of the 450X and Ather 450 Plus can now break their investment within two years and save around Rs 2 per km.
Ravneet Phokela, Chief Business Officer, Ather Energy, said, “Delhi is an incredibly important market for Ather Energy, and we expect substantial contributions from Delhi and NCR as we continue our journey to become the market leader. With the new Ather space in New Delhi, we aim to educate and engage with consumers about high performance EVs so that they can confidently shift to electric vehicles.
He further added that, in addition, the recent FAME II amendments and policy initiatives and subsidies launched by the Delhi government make Delhi EV prices one of the lowest in the country, and will accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles. We look forward to playing a strong role in Delhi’s transformation into electric mobility.”
The company wants to achieve the goal of charging station
Earlier this year, Ather Energy commenced deliveries of the 450X in Delhi. The EV maker has also installed 14 public fast charging points, also known as Ather Grid, across the city. These are located at places like Green Park, Dilshad Garden, Krishna Nagar and Connaught Place. The company aims to double the number of electric two-wheeler charging stations by the end of this year. Ather Energy will also help customers set up home charging points in their apartments and buildings after purchasing one of its electric scooters.
