India-Bangladesh-China: Indian Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal RK A Bhadauria (Rakesh Kumar Singh Bhadauria) has come to Bangladesh on a three-day tour. This is his second visit to Bangladesh in the last four months. Earlier, when he came here in February, he was honored by being inducted into the Mirpur Hall of Fame. Two months before the Air Force Chief’s visit, Army Chief General MM Naravane also visited Bangladesh. Now the Indian High Commission has tweeted that RKK Bhadauria has come for a three-day tour on the invitation of Bangladesh Chief. It is expected that he will hold talks with his counterpart to expand military cooperation.
These visits are also more important because China is trying its best to surround India. India and America have been shocked to respond to his moves (India Bangladesh Latest News). As part of its encirclement strategy, China is trying to build a roadway to Bangladesh with the help of Myanmar’s coup military government. This is the reason that while the whole world is criticizing the coup in Myanmar, China is standing on the side of the military government. He has even used his veto in a resolution criticizing this military government.
Bangladesh’s attitude is changing
On the other hand, China’s closeness with Bangladesh is also increasing. Despite India’s continuous efforts, the attitude of Bangladesh is changing. Bangladesh has handed over the contract of airport terminal in Sylhet to a Chinese company. This is the area, which is adjacent to the north-eastern border of India (Bangladesh China Relations). In this respect, it is considered very sensitive. China’s access here clearly means that it can monitor the north eastern areas of India. It wants to reach the Bay of Bengal like the South China Sea. China has invested up to $ 26 billion in Bangladesh.
China-Bangladesh deepening relationship
Recently, China had announced the removal of tax on 97 percent of Bangladesh’s products. After which the relations between the two countries became deeper (India China Ladakh Standoff). All this is happening at a time when India’s tension with China remains in Ladakh. At the same time, when the Air Force Chief had come to Bangladesh earlier in February, then an agreement was reached between the two countries regarding weapons. Under which India will give many advanced weapons to Bangladesh. Along with this, important issues like training of military officers, strengthening air security and monitoring of Bay of Bengal were also discussed.
