The HT Auto report states that the Husqvarna Vektorr is all set to be launched in India under the banner of Bajaj Auto. The report says that Bajaj will make this scooter in its facility. Bajaj already makes its popular Chetak EV electric scooter in this facility. Apart from this, it has been estimated in the report that many specifications and features may be similar in Vektorr and Chetak EV.
As we mentioned, Husqvarna has unveiled its first electric scooter Vektorr in May 2021. At that time it was shown as an electric scooter concept model. However, it is expected that its final design will be different from the concept. The upcoming electric scooter could come with ample storage space to deliver a smooth riding experience and the design could be tweaked to keep it India-friendly.
The Husqvarna Vektorr is likely to be based on the same platform and powertrain as the Bajaj Chetak. If it does, then this electric scooter could come equipped with a 5.4 kWh brushless DC motor and 3 kWh lithium-ion battery pack, thanks to which its full charge range is expected to be around the Chetak, i.e. 95 km. The top speed has been estimated to be 70 kmph. Apart from this, all the advanced features that are trending these days can also be given which may include digital instrument cluster, anti-theft alarm, reverse mode, cruise control etc.<!–
