Honda Cars India Limited (HCIL) has introduced a special edition of its family sedan Honda Amaze (Amaze) before the start of the festive season. The new edition will come with new and exciting features. Ex-showroom Delhi price of Amaze Special Variants starts from Rs. 7 lakhs. It will be available in manual transmission and CVT versions in both petrol and diesel engine options. The Amaze Special Edition is based on the S-Grade variant of the car.

Engine and power
The 1.2 liter petrol engine of Honda Amaze generates 88 hp power and 110 Nm torque. With this, a 5 speed manual or CVT gearbox can be selected. Mileage of petrol manual version is 18.6 kpl and CVT version claims to be 18.3 kpl.
Amaze’s diesel engine is a 1.5 liter unit, which generates 98 hp power and 200 Nm of torque. It also has MT and CVT gearbox options. Mileage of diesel manual version is 24.7 kpl and CVT version claims to be 21 kpl. The output of the CVT diesel version is 80 hp / 160 Nm.
