Honda CB350 RS Launched: Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced a new model of its CB range in India. The company has launched a new CB350 RS. The price of this bike has been kept at 1.96 lakh rupees (showroom), which is about 10 thousand rupees more than the base variant CB350. The new Honda CB350 RS two color options are available to customers in Black with Radiant Red Metallic and Pearl Sports. In CB350 RS, RS means Road Sailing. The company claims that the bike has been made in such a way that even in long distance travel, it will provide comfort to the person riding the bike and the person sitting on it.
The CB350 RS has the same engine and its bicycle parts as the CB 350. That is, the CB 350 RS is powered by a 348 cc engine, single cylinder air-cooled engine that produces 20.8 horsepower and 30Nm of torque. It has a 5 speed transmission gearbox.
This is typical
The CB 350 RS has HSTC (Honda Selectable Torque Control) which is the company’s traction control system and can also be switched off. The CB 350 RS features Front Fork Gaiters with i-shaped LED turn indicators. It has skid plates and 150/170 section rear tires while the H’ness CB350 has a 130/70 section unit. Its rear end has been significantly changed and it looks different from the CB350. Apart from this, the seating has been improved in the CB 350 RS and it has a ‘tuck and roll’ design.
Royal Enfiled is getting tough competition
Honda CB 350 has sold more than 10,000 bikes so far. In the engine segment of 350 cc capacity, Royal Enfield Meteor 350 has been given a tough competition by Honda H’ness CB350. Now the company will aggressively expand the Bigwing network. So far, up to 50 touchpoints have been reached under this retail channel. The company hopes that as the performance of the Honda H’ness CB350 has been better, the sales figures of the CB 350 RS will improve.
