The company has removed the curtain from the Global Limited-run Sports World Champion Edition.
Suzuki Swift Sports World Champion edition unveil: While Maruti Suzuki is preparing to launch the updated Swift in the country, the parent company has lifted the curtain on the Globally Limited-run Sports World Champion Edition. The Suzuki Swift Sports World Champion Edition will be sold in Italy and is limited to only seven units. This edition has been brought to celebrate Suzuk’s seventh World Championship MotoGP victory. The blue and silver color of the winning MotoGP bike has been kept on the car.
Apart from this, new strips can be seen on the roof with bonnet outside. Inside there are doc cards, neon highlights on the dashboard, and the signature of MotoGP world champion Joan Mir. Except this, no other changes have been made to the regular car. This is a limited edition and not available in other markets.
1.4 liter petrol engine
The Swift Sports World Champion has a 1.4 liter naturally aspirated petrol engine. The engine makes 127hp power and 253Nm torque. With this, a 48V hybrid system has been given. Maruti Suzuki displayed it at the Auto Expo to get the response of the people. It has a motor with a 6-speed manual gearbox, which the company does not currently have in any car in India.
Talking about the facelifted model, it will not only get cosmetic updates, but will also get a new 1.2 liter dualjet petrol engine. The engine has a power of 90hp to produce 113Nm torque. It will also get start-stop technology. Apart from the 5 speed manual, an AMT will also be offered with this motor. After the car sale starts this month, the prices are expected to increase by 20 thousand rupees.
