Usually we charge our phone from any charging port, but doing so can be overwhelming for us and our data can be stolen.
Phone Charging
If you also charge your phone with any cable, then be careful because doing so can be overwhelming for you. By doing this, all your data in your phone can be stolen within minutes. As we all know that not only the phone is charged with the USB cable, but with the help of this, data is also transferred, so it can be difficult to connect any cable to your phone. This allows hackers to easily steal your data. This kind of theft is called Juice Jacking Fraud.
Actually Juice Jacking Fraud is a kind of cyber fraud in which USB charging port is used for both data connection and charging. Using this, data is copied from smartphones, tablets or other computer devices. Hackers can get all the information contained in your phone by tempering the USB charging port and can also export the data.
Do not make such mistake even by mistake
– If you are charging your phone through the charging port at public places like railway station, bus station, airport etc., then turn off the data transfer.
In addition, while charging the phone in public places, switch it off and charge it so that no theft can be done.
– Always use your own AC charging adapter and cable, by doing this you can protect yourself.
Keep in mind that while charging the phone, connect your mobile to the AC wall socket and not to the USB wall socket because doing so can increase your discomfort.
– Do not charge any of your electronic devices such as phones, tablets etc. from any unknown person’s laptop or computer.
Keep these things in mind
Always keep the power bank of a good company with you, so you will not have to charge the phone anywhere. Always use a cable that acts like a charging cable instead of a data cable. If you are among those who travel most of the time then use USB blocker.
