Hyundai alcazar
Hyundai Motor India on Wednesday confirmed that the bookings for its upcoming Alcazar SUV have officially started across all its dealerships. All interested customers will have to pay Rs 25,000 to book a unit of this. The Alcazar is Hyundai’s first three-row (7 seater) SUV in India and is expected to be launched later this month.
Actually Hyundai Alcazar was supposed to be launched earlier but Hyundai delayed the launch of its Alcazar SUV due to Corona pandemic crisis. Now with the relaxation of the lockdown in the states, Hyundai will soon be launching the SUV in India. The vehicle will be available in 6- and 7-seat cabin configurations and will get a new 2.0-litre petrol engine along with a 1.5-litre diesel engine option. This SUV will give direct competition to Mahindra XUV500, Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus.
What will be special in the new Hyundai Alcazar
The new Alcazar is inspired by Hyundai’s full-size SUV Creta, with both the vehicles sharing the same platform. However, to support the extra row of seats, the Alcazar has been outfitted by Hyundai with a longer wheelbase at 2760 mm. Hyundai has also given several styling modifications to differentiate the Alcazar from the Creta. These include a revised grille, a refreshed front bumper, an expanded rear quarter glass, taillights with a wraparound design, faux exhaust tips and much larger 18-inch alloy wheels.
Great engine will be available in the car
The petrol variant of the all-new Alcazar will be powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine that will generate 159 hp of power and 192 Nm of peak torque. The diesel variant of the upcoming vehicle, on the other hand, will sport a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbocharged motor borrowed from Hyundai’s Creta that produces 115hp and 250Nm. Both the variants will come with 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes.
These features of Hyundai Alcazar will be awesome
In terms of features, the Alcazar is expected to get all the amenities offered by the Hyundai Creta like panoramic sunroof, Apple CarPlay, automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, 360-degree camera etc. The interiors of the vehicle will have a dual-tone color theme.
