KTM is ready to launch the new generation RC200 and RC390 sports bikes. Both faired models have been seen testing several times in the past and it is expected that it can be launched in India in the next few weeks. Now selected KTM dealerships have started booking both bikes with token amount between Rs 2,000 and Rs 5,000. Dealers suggest that both the bikes are expected to be launched by July 2021.
The new generation RC390 will finally be updated with a new TFT display screen which is visible in the current 390 Duke. Also, other major updates may include QuickShifter. On the other hand, the new RC200 will continue to feature a fully digital LCD unit with updated graphics. On the outside, both the bikes will be heavily designed with the new single pod headlamps.
The exterior paint scheme of the new-generation RC390 was also leaked online recently. Talking to the mechanical angle, the same type of features can be given in both the bikes. The RC390 will be powered by a 373.2cc single cylinder engine. This liquid cooled fuel injected engine and 6 speed gearbox will be given.
The RC200 will get a 199.5cc air-cooled engine and 6-speed gearbox. Both the motorcycles will come with BS6 compliant. The price of RC390 may be slightly higher, while the price of RC200 may be slightly higher than the current 2.10 lakh rupees.
