The new generation Mahindra XUV500 was planned to be launched in the first quarter of the year 2021 but now it has been shifted to the second half of the year 2021.
According to the report of Team BHP, the new generation Mahindra XUV500 has been shifted to September 2021. In such a situation, delivery of this new model will start from November 2021. Due to this, the launch date of the new generation Mahindra Scorpio may also be affected. At the same time, this can also happen due to global shortage of semiconductor.

The new generation Mahindra XUV500 is based on the new front wheel drive monocoque platform. It comes in two engine options which include 2.0 liter turbocharged petrol and 2.2 liter turbocharged diesel. While petrol gives power of 190bhp and torque of 350Nm, diesel gives power of 180bhp. In both, you get a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
The new XUV500 comes with powerful features in many segments, including the advanced driver assistance system of ADAS. Driver Assistance features include Autonomous Emergency Braking Adaptive Cruise Control Front Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning and Park Assist. Whereas for safety and security, it has given you many airbags, parking sensors, 360 degree camera, ESP and tire pressure monitor.
If you talk about some more features, then you will be given a touchscreen infotainment system and digital instrument console. The SUV gets all the features like dual zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, power driver seat, ventilated seats, keyless entry.
