Ashok Leyland result: Ashok Leyland, the flagship company of the Hinduja Group, released the March quarter results on Friday. The company’s net profit in this quarter was 241.1 crores, while in the March 2020 quarter, the company had a loss of 57.3 crores. In this way the net profit has increased by 525 percent. Apart from this, the final dividend has also been announced by the company. The company has announced 60 paise dividend per share. In the AGM meeting on September 8, in which it will be approved.
After the release of the results, the shares of the company registered a rise of up to 9 percent today. At 1 o’clock in the afternoon, its stock was trading at a level of Rs 123.50 with a rise of 4.50 percent on NSE. During trading today, it had reached the level of Rs 129.50. The lowest level so far is Rs 122.20. This stock has given excellent returns in the last one year. Its 52-week high is Rs 138.90 and the lowest level is Rs 46.65.

82 percent increase in revenue
In the March 2021 quarter, the company’s standalone revenue (revenue from the operations) registered a growth of 82 per cent and stood at Rs 7000.5 crore as compared to Rs 38385 crore in March 2020.
PAT increased six times
Its consolidated profit after tax increased more than six times to Rs 377 crore during the fourth quarter of FY 2021. Ashok Leyland said in a statement that during the fourth quarter of the last financial year, the consolidated income stood at Rs 8,142 crore, as compared to Rs 5,088 crore in the same period a year ago. Ashok Leyland, in a separate release on Friday, said it has constituted an Environment, Social and Administrative (ESG) committee for its sustainability agenda, which will be headed by an independent director NV Balachander.
