The 2020 Toyota Innova Crysta facelift has been launched in India. Its ex-showroom prices in India, ranging from 16.26 lakh to 24.33 lakh rupees, except Kerala. The Toyota Innova Crysta was first launched in 2005. The company has so far sold more than 8.8 lakh units of this vehicle. The second generation Innova Crysta was introduced in 2016.
The new 2020 version of Toyota Innova Crysta has been launched with many new features. There are some changes in its exterior too. Currently, Innova Crysta has a market share of 43 per cent in the MPV segment. As far as engine options are concerned, the new version of Toyota Innova Crysta will also get a 2.7 liter petrol engine. Transmission options will be 5 speed manual or 6 speed AT. The 2.4-liter turbo diesel engine option will also be available with similar transmission options.
What changed the look
The new Innova Crysta will be available in three grades of GX, VX and ZX. They will be available with 8 seats and 7 seats. New Sparkling Black Crystal Shine Exterior Color has been offered in the new Innova Crysta. The front grille is now with piano black finish and chrome surround. There is a change in the style of the front bumpers. The design of alloy wheels is new. The top trims of the vehicle will come with diamond cut finished alloy wheels.
Interior and safety
A new modern and bigger Smart Playcast touchscreen infotainment system has been given inside the 2020 Toyota Innova Crysta. It supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The MPV also has connectivity features as an optional accessory, such as real-time vehicle tracking, geofencing, location of last cooking, etc. Safety features of the new Innova Crysta will include 7 airbags, vehicle stability control, hill start assist etc. Now front parking sensors have also been added to it and there is a display for it as well.
