Pune-based company Electra EV has developed an electric version of Tata’s popular four wheeler Tata Nano, which is not for the common customers. Electra EV company provides services related to EV and the company has prepared it for the mobility service company SainikPod Sit & Go. This car is built on the 72V electric architecture which is currently seen in the popular Tata Nexon EV. It proves to be much more powerful than the 48V system. Thanks to this system, the Tata Nexon EV offers a range of 200 km on a single charge and is one of the best selling electric cars in the country.
If we talk about the features of Tata Nano EV Neo, then it is a 4 seater car and can go up to a range of 160 km. It is also being said that like the Tata Nexon EV, it can also go up to a range of 200 km. The pickup speed of the car is also said to be good and it can go from zero to 60 kmph in less than 10 seconds. Lithium-ion battery has been used in Tata Nano EV.
Tata Nano EV has come into the limelight because recently Ratan Tata has taken a ride in it. Electra EV has been delivered to Ratan Tata, who is also the founder of Electra EV. A picture of Ratan Tata with the car has been shared on LinkedIn. The Tata Nano has been modified and converted into an electric car by Electrodrive Powertrain Solutions Pvt Ltd. Electra EV delivered this car to Ratan Tata to get his feedback about the car. However, the company has now stopped production of the Lakhtakia car Tata Nano, which was launched several years ago.
