Karanja Ghadge (ed.). The farmers of the district are facing sultani crisis every year. Recently, farmers have somehow managed themselves due to unseasonal rains and hailstorms. Now amidst the cold wave, wild animals have started damaging the Rabi crops. Especially due to the nuisance of pigs, the farmers have become very upset. Due to the destruction of standing crops due to this, the farmers have become very worried.
Crops like gram, wheat, tur etc were ruined
Farmers sweat in the fields day and night without caring for life. They do Jagran at night by risking their lives. At the same time, a herd of wild boars is destroying the crop by entering the fields at night. These days, wild boars have started completely destroying crops like gram, wheat, urad, tuar, popat etc. in Rabi season. Fear of wild animals Due to the cold, farmers are afraid to guard the crops by tying scaffolds in the fields. Tears are flowing from the eyes of the farmers seeing the hard-working crop getting destroyed. The farmers have no option but to bear the loss.
Forest department is not paying serious attention
The forest department is responsible for the settlement of wild animals. No measures are being planned by the administration for the settlement of wild boars, which have become a headache for the farmers every year. On the contrary, if the farmer has taken a plan to save his crop from being ruined, he is in danger of getting caught in legal trouble. Many such incidents have happened in Tehsil. The farmers are very disappointed because the administration has not taken any measures for the settlement of wild boars, due to which the anger against the forest department is increasing among the farmers.
