For the first time, India’s top three infotech companies – Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys and Wipro will start the IT results season for October-December on the same day i.e. Wednesday, January 12. Their Later on Friday, HCL Tech will declare its results.
Wednesday was a field day for market watchers and IT analysts as three companies delivered their results one after the other. A huge amount of information was exchanged in just 4 hours. Not only this, close observers of TCS, Infosys and Wipro also exchanged memes and jokes before the announcement of the results.

TCS: Q3 Results Preview- Profit may see 14.5% and 16% growth in earnings
The last two quarters, even the seasonally weak October-December quarter has been the best for IT. The sector got a boost due to year-end holidays and unprecedented demand for digital amid the coronavirus pandemic.
IT companies are expected to post strong earnings growth and will continue to see double digit growth in FY22 as demand momentum remains intact.
Brokerage firm Kotak Institutional Equities expects Wipro, Tech Mahindra and HCL Tech Constant to clock 4.5 per cent growth in the currency, while Infosys and TCS will see 3.7 per cent and 2.6 per cent growth, respectively.
Analysts expect Infosys to increase its revenue guidance from 16.5-17.5 per cent to 17-18 per cent. HCL Tech had given guidance for double digit growth for the financial year 2022. While TCS does not share guidance, the management is confident of double-digit growth in FY22.
