New DelhiDelhi Police, while probing the ‘Bully Bai’ case, has come to know that the app’s creator Neeraj Bishnoi had created five different Twitter handles under the name ‘Giyu’. It is the name of a character from a Japanese anime. The name in which the accused had created the accounts has been identified. This includes accounts @giyu2002, @giyu007, @giyuu84, @giyu94 and @giyu44.
Out of these, the account @giyu2002 has been found to be linked to an FIR registered at Kishangarh Police Station, South West Delhi. KPS Malhotra, DCP, IFSC Special Cell, claimed that Bishnoi had made lewd comments and tweeted about the women’s auction from the @giyu2002 twitter handle.
A new account was created to challenge the police investigation
Police officer KPS Malhotra said that the accused Bishnoi, who was arrested from his home in Assam on Thursday, created another account on @giyu44 on January 3, 2022, to challenge the investigation by the Mumbai Police to arrest him. DCP Malhotra further said, the accused tried to get in touch with the investigating agency posing as a news reporter by creating a fake profile of a girl during this period. After this he came in contact with many other journalists and tried to spread misinformation with his nefarious intentions.

DCP Malhotra said that the accused Bishnoi has revealed that he has a habit of hacking, spoofing websites and is learning the same since the age of 15. He claims to have hacked various websites of schools and universities in India as well as Pakistan.
Use of Shweta’s Twitter account
Bishnoi has also revealed that he was in touch with people arrested by Mumbai Police in the virtual world and used to chat through Twitter group chats. DCP Malhotra said that he never met them and did not even have their contact numbers. The DCP said that Bishnoi also revealed that he was using the Twitter account of Shweta, a girl arrested by Mumbai Police.
chose Gurmukhi script, tried to commit suicide
The DCP said that Bishnoi has also revealed that he chose the Gurmukhi script as he found it more influential than the Devanagari script. DCP Malhotra said, “He had even tried to harm himself twice and threatened to commit suicide. They are being taken care of.”
