- Home Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa threatens to resign
- Sidhu should leave the party
Chandigarh: The discord in Punjab Congress is increasing instead of stopping. Home Minister Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has threatened to resign from his post, fed up with the state chief Navjot Singh Sidhu. With this, Randhawa has described Sidhu as very ambitious while attacking.
In fact, Navjot Singh Sidhu is continuously attacking his own government over the arrest of Akali leader Bikram Singh Majithia over drugs. Fed up with Sidhu’s constant attack, Randhawa offered to resign. Randhawa said, “Navjot Singh has been angry ever since he was made the home minister of the state. That’s why I am ready to leave this position.”
Channi is our groom: Sukhjinder Randhawa
Taking a jibe at Sidhu’s remarks about the groom’s procession, the Home Minister (Sukhjinder Randhawa) said, “At present our Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi is the groom of our government. And who will be the groom next time, our MLAs will decide. The Congress does not have a tradition of announcing the name of the Chief Minister before the election.
Three ministers opened front against Sidhu
Along with Randhawa, three more ministers of the government have opened a front against Sidhu. In which Bharat Bhushan Ashu and Rana Gurjeet are included. Ashu, while advising Sidhu, even said that he needs to learn Congress culture. With this, the Punjab model will run, not the Sidhu model.
leave the party bad
Food and Civil Supplies Minister Ashu took a dig at Sidhu and said, “The Chief Minister and Minister are working for 18-18 hours. So much work was done in 3 months, which could not be done in last 4 and a half years. Despite this, Sidhu is making opposite statements on him. Due to which all the efforts of the government are being wasted.”
He even said that, “If all is not well in Congress then Sidhu should leave the party.” With this, he has demanded the Congress high command to discipline Sidhu.
Ever since Navjot Singh Sidhu has joined the Congress, he is having a dispute with other party leaders. Sidhu joined hands with Captain Amarinder Singh to become the first Punjab Congress President. At the same time, since Charanjit Singh Channi has been made the Chief Minister in place of Captain, he is standing with a sword against the government on one issue or the other. Every day he keeps making statements against his government.
