Pimpri: Like the story of a Hindi film, an encounter took place on Monday between the Pimpri Chinchwad Police and the absconding accused in the murder case. The police had received information that the accused in the murder of a vicious miscreant in Pimple Gurav area are hiding in the forest near Chakan. According to which four teams of police carried out the operation, in which Police Commissioner Krishna Prakash himself was also involved. The police team that went to nab the miscreants was fired upon, in response to which the police also fired. While fleeing after firing, the police commissioner uprooted a small tree and threw it in the direction of the miscreants, due to which the miscreants fell down and the police caught them.
During this operation, some police personnel including police commissioner Krishna Prakash sustained minor injuries. During the arrest, the miscreants were not coming under control, as a result the police caught them using force and put them behind the bars. Two pistols have been recovered from them. The names of the arrested miscreants are Ganesh Hanumant Mote (23, resident Sangvi, Pune, native Vairag, Mohol, Solapur), Mahesh Tukaram Mane (23, resident Kavadenagar Sangvi Pune native Pathsangvi Bhum, Osmanabad), Ashwin Anandrao Yadav (21, resident Katepuram) Chowk, Vinayaknagar, Navi Saganvi native is Shripat Pimpri, Barshi, Solapur). He is accused of murder of a vicious crook named Yogesh Ravindra Jagtap (36, resident of Pimple Gurav, Pune).

According to information given by Deputy Commissioner of Police Manchak Ippar in a press conference today, Yogesh Jagtap was shot dead in broad daylight at Katepuram Chowk in Pimple Gurav on December 18. In this case, the Sangvi police arrested six accused and took a juvenile boy into custody. However, three accused, including the main accused Ganesh Mote, were absconding. Police Commissioner Krishna Prakash had reached Alandi police station on Sunday night. Then he got information about these absconding miscreants hiding in the forest of Koye Kurkundi of Chakan. Accordingly, the operation was started by forming four police teams. Police Commissioner Krishna Prakash himself also joined one of the teams. When the police team reached there, the accused were hiding in a house in the forest.
The house was searched through the local police
The police teams were trying to reach the accused, surrounded from all sides from different directions. Then a black colored Pulsar motorcycle without a number plate was seen in the bushes near the said house, which was in the forest. First, the house was searched through Police Patil and the local police. After this, when the police proceeded to nab them, they got suspicious and started running in the forest. During this, two miscreants fired two rounds at two teams of police. In response, Senior Police Inspector Sunil Tonpe of Sangvi police station and Assistant Police Inspector Satish Kamble also opened fire in the direction of the miscreants. While firing, the miscreants were running from the bushes towards the forest, when the police commissioner Krishna Prakash uprooted a small tree and threw it in his direction, due to which the miscreants fell down. After this a scuffle started between the police and the miscreants, in which the miscreants became more aggressive. However, the police caught them using force. Police commissioner Krishna Prakash and four to five police personnel got minor injuries in this scuffle. Along with the murder case in Sangvi police, a case has been registered against the said accused under the Arms Act, attempt to murder by firing at the police in Chakan police station. A complaint has been lodged by Assistant Police Inspector Satish Kamble in this regard. The entire operation was carried out by police teams led by Police Commissioner Krishna Prakash, Assistant Commissioner of Police Prashant Amritkar, Senior Police Inspector Sunil Tonpe, Assistant Inspector Satish Kamble, Harish Mane.
