He was Emerging Markets and Chief Global Strategist in this company. Sharma, who lives in New York, was associated with this company 25 years ago. Ruchir, who joined this company in 1996, has spent 27 years in the investment world. Sharma has also served as the Chief Global Strategist of Morgan Stanley Investment Management.

After Sharma’s resignation, Morgan Stanley appointed Amy Oldenberg as the head of Emerging Markets Equity. Amy Oldenburg had been working in Morgan Stanley’s asset management business for the past 20 years. She was the company’s chief operating officer since 2013, overseeing its emerging markets platform. According to the company, Eric Carlson will be its sustainability chief. He will support the team’s growth in sustainable investing solutions.
