Signal comes to the top rank due to new privacy policy of WhatsApp
Signal is an encrypted communication application for Android and iOS. Signal allows users to share encrypted files, voice notes, photos and videos, and make one-to-one audio and video calls. Tesla CEO Elon Musk also praised the signal a lot.
It rose to fame after WhatsApp earlier this year rolled out its new privacy rules for users, which offer advertisers access to their business chats. The encrypted messaging service has reached the top rank in the App Store’s free app category in many countries including India.
