According to the list, the special thing is that the value of the world’s four largest companies Apple, Microsoft, Amazon and Alphabet has doubled in COVID time. The total value of these four companies increased to $ 4 lakh crore (Rs 297.61 lakh crore) in COVID time to $ 8 lakh crore (Rs 595.22 lakh crore). These four companies have 14 percent stake in Hurun’s top 500 companies. The list includes 243 companies from America, 47 from China, 30 companies from Japan. To be included in this list, the cut-off of the capital of US $ 3660 million (Rs 2.72 lakh crore) was kept.

Reliance tops Indian companies
Reliance Industries tops the list of Hurun’s top 500 companies from India. Reliance and TCS are in the top 100. Reliance’s value has increased by 11 percent this year and has been placed at 57th place with a capital of $ 18.8 thousand crore (Rs 13.98 lakh crore). TCS’s capital increased by 18 percent to $ 16.4 thousand crore (Rs 12.2 lakh crore) in one year. The capital of HDFC Bank is estimated at $ 11.3 thousand crore (Rs 8.40 lakh crore). This time 48 companies have been out of the list of top 500 valuable companies, which includes ITC. ITC was ranked 480 in the list of 2020 last year. Apple is valued at $2.44 trillion, Microsoft’s $2.11 trillion, Amazon’s $1.8 trillion, and Alphabet’s $1.7 trillion.

SBI also in the list of top government companies in the world
Private companies are included in the Hurun Global 500. Talking about government companies, only 39 government companies crossed Hurun’s 2021 cut-off, out of which India’s SBI is included. The world’s richest government company is Saudi Aramco of Saudi Arabia, whose capital was estimated at $ 1.86 lakh crore (Rs 138.43 lakh crore). The list includes 27 state-owned companies from China, 4 from Saudi Arabia, 3 from Russia and one each from France, UAE, Qatar, Norway and India. SBI is at the 25th position in this list with a capital of $ 2100 million (Rs 3.8 lakh crore).
