According to a report in Hindustan Times, the entire project is expected to cost around Rs 862 crore and could not only emerge as a fast and safe transport option, but it would also help in decongesting the roads. could.

The detailed project report confirmed the cost and also stated that the total length of the project would be 14.5 km. Arun Veer Singh, Chief Executive Officer, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEDA) said, “This important project will provide better connectivity to the residential and industrial areas falling between Film City and Noida International Airport.”
Pod taxi route will pass through these sectors
Arun Singh said, “We have started studying the DPR so that we can suggest any changes if required and later it will be sent to the UP government for approval.” He further said that since there will be two corridors – one from the airport to the film city and the other for the other route. The cost for this has gone up from the initial estimate of Rs 300 crore. The pod taxi route is expected to pass through sectors like 21, 28, 29, 30 and 32.
Pod taxi project will be completed by 2023
Pod taxis are a common travel vehicle in many western cities. Each pod can usually seat up to 6 passengers and can operate on elevated corridors. As such, they can travel relatively quickly while carrying the load from the roads below them. It is expected that the pod taxi project will be fully completed by 2023. This is also when the first phase of Jewar airport has become operational. The Swiss firm Zurich International is expected to start work from August.
