WhatsApp users will now be able to log in to multiple devices from one account. Earlier, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and WhatsApp chief Will Cathcart had announced to make the multi-device feature available for public beta users in a month or two. With the new feature, users will be able to link up to four devices with the same account at a time. With this, users will not need to keep the main device online to use WhatsApp on other devices or on WhatsApp Web. Currently, users can log into the computer system using WhatsApp Web only when you are online on the main device i.e. phone.
How can I use the feature in beta?
WABetaInfo, a popular platform that tracks WhatsApp features, will soon announce how you can be a part of this public beta program. Only certain users will get a chance to be a part of the testing phase of this feature, so users should follow the tracker and keep notifications on for real time updates. With this, only the latest beta users will be able to participate in the beta program. After testing this feature for some time, it will be made available to all users.
WABetaInfo has also shared a screenshot of the upcoming multi-device feature. In its dialog box it is written that without putting your phone online, use WhatsApp on up to four additional devices. And with this it has invited users to the beta version of the multi-device feature.
Apart from this, WhatsApp is going to bring another new feature. Videos sent on the app are sometimes of poor quality. The app has implemented several heavy algorithms to ensure that videos reach other users faster. However, this sometimes leads to a deterioration in the quality of the video. However, soon this may change. The instant messaging app is coming with a new feature, with the help of which users will be able to choose the quality of the video.
