JEE Mains 2021 Dates: Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) – the remaining editions of Mains will be held from July 20 to 25 and July 27 to August 2, the exam for admission to engineering. Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank made this announcement on Tuesday. Both these sessions were postponed in view of the Corona epidemic. Their results are expected to be announced in August.
From this year the examination will be held in four sessions
Nishank said that the third edition of JEE-Mains will be conducted from July 20 to 25, while the fourth edition will be conducted from July 27 to August 2. He said that the examinations will be conducted by following all the covid protocols and keeping in mind the safety of all the applicants. JEE Mains for admission to engineering colleges is being conducted four times a year from this academic session to give students ease and opportunity to improve their marks amid the second wave of corona in the country.
The first phase of this exam was conducted in February and the second phase in March. Apart from this, the next phase was to be conducted in April and May. But they were postponed after the increase in the number of cases of corona virus during the second wave of the epidemic.
The JEE-Advanced exam for admission to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs) was also postponed. The exam was to be conducted on July 3.

In view of the new education policy, JEE (Mains) 2021 exam will be held in 13 languages. These are Hindi, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. Education Minister Nishank said that the exam will be in computer-based test mode, while the B.Arch exam will be taken in offline mode.
Let us tell that there will be a total of 90 questions, out of which students will have to solve any 75 questions. That is, out of 30 questions from each section of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, 25 have to be attempted. Till this year, students did not have the option of questions. No negative marking will be done out of the remaining 15 questions. Merit list/ranking will be prepared on the best score of the student.
