Nepal Floods: It has been raining continuously in Nepal for the last two weeks. Due to this there has been flood in different parts of the country. So far 38 people have died due to landslides.

In the last 20 days, 38 people have died in landslides caused by incessant rains and floods in Nepal. Seven children were also among the dead. At the same time, 51 people have also been injured due to the landslide. The Ministry of Home Affairs of Nepal gave this information on Saturday. The ministry said 51 people have been injured and 24 people, including three children, are missing in various parts of the country in incidents of floods and landslides.
Nepal Home Ministry said that 1250 people have been evacuated from different parts of the country facing the natural calamity. The ministry said that five in Sindhupalchowk district, four in Doti district, three each in Gorkha and Rolpa, two each in Chitwan, Tanhun, Puthan and Rauthat, Lalitpur, Khotang, Saptari, Kavre, Dhading, Sindhuli, Jumla, Arghakhachi, One person each died in Dang, Palpa, Kaski, Kalikot, Panchthar, Bajhang and Bajur districts.
5100 people displaced, army launched to help
A total of 790 houses were flooded due to floods and landslides, the ministry said. It said that 519 houses, 90 cowsheds and 19 bridges have been completely damaged due to floods and landslides. It said that relief and rescue work is on and 5,100 people have been displaced in this natural disaster. Nepal Army personnel, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force have been fielded to help the people. At present, the work of evacuating the people trapped due to the landslide is going on.
18 people died due to incessant rain
Earlier, at least 18 people had lost their lives and 21 others went missing in Nepal due to landslides and floods following heavy rains two weeks ago. It was reported that Nepal received torrential rains, causing widespread flooding and damage to vital infrastructure. Officials said that the rivers were in spate due to excessive rain and there was widespread destruction. People in Nepal have been facing continuous heavy rains for the last two weeks.
