Flights Ban From India: Australia has banned all direct passenger flights from India till 15 May. Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced this on Tuesday that the ban will continue until at least May 15, given the dangers arising on traveling to India. This decision has been taken by Australia because of the growing Corona cases in India. It is worth noting that in recent times, many countries around the world including the US, UK, Canada, UAE, Oman, New Zealand have implemented a flight ban in view of the growing threat of Corona virus in India. For this reason, people of Indian origin living in these countries have to face a lot of trouble.
Earlier, Australia extended a hand to help it in the war of India released from Corona. In the coming days, the Government of Australia can send oxygen supplies, PPE kits and ventilators to India. The country’s Health Minister Greg Hunt said on Monday that in view of the threat of Corona, an immediate relief package will be made available to India soon. The Australian Government is preparing to help India in every way possible.
These countries also banned
Prior to Australia, countries like Canada, UAE, Britain and China have also imposed similar restrictions. Recently, the Canadian government has banned flights coming from India. According to the Canadian Health Minister, about 20 per cent of the international flights arriving there are Indians. Therefore, there was a demand to stop the flight coming from India.
Apart from this, the United Arab Emirates recently canceled all national and foreign airline flights from India. The civil aviation authority of the UAE and the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Emergency Management Authority jointly announced it. There will be no restriction on flights whose transition will be in UAE and fly to India. Those who have gone to another country from India and want to come to UAE will have to stay in that country for a period of 14 days after moving from India to another country, only then they will be able to come to UAE.
China’s official Sichuan Airlines has postponed all its cargo flights to India for the next 15 days. It was to have the much-needed oxygen concentrator and other medical supplies. China is keeping a close watch on the state of the epidemic in the Chinese Foreign Ministry’s India.

During the last 24 hours, 3,23,144 new cases of infection have been reported from across the country. While 2771 people have died during the last 24 hours. According to the Health Ministry, the total number of coronavirus infections in the country has increased to 1,76,36,307. The number of active cases in this is 28,82,204 while 1,45,56,209 people have been cured of this disease. The number of infected in the country for the sixth consecutive day has been more than 3 lakhs and the number of deaths has been more than 2000.
