If you are planning to buy a new car, now you will have to loosen your pocket more. Most companies have increased the price of their vehicles. Talking about the latest update, the price of the fifth generation Honda City has been increased by Rs 10,000.
Apart from the entry-level variants of the mid-size sedan Honda City, the price of all variants has increased. Earlier Honda City was priced between Rs 11 lakh to Rs 14.85 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), now after Price Hike it is available in the range of Rs 11 lakh and Rs 14.95 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Launched in India in July 2020, the fifth-generation Honda City has two engine options – the 1.5-liter i-VTEC DOHC petrol (maximum power 121PS and peak torque 145Nm) and the 1.5-liter i-DTEC diesel (100PS max. Power and peak torque of 200Nm). Both motors have a standard 6-speed manual transmission. Apart from this, the optional 7-speed CVT variant is also available in the petrol engine.

The specialty of the new Honda City
The new 5th generation Honda City was introduced in the Indian market in July 2020. It is longer than the old models of the new Honda City, the length of the car is 4549 millimeters. The front of the Honda City 2020 has nine LED headlights on both sides along with a large chrome light. A 7-inch TFT LCD panel is fitted behind the steering wheel. Apart from this, there is also an 8-inch main information panel on the front. Inside the car too, more seats and comfortable seat cushions have been provided for people to sit. Honda City 2020 got 5-stars in the ASEAN NCAP Safety Test. The new model has 6 air bags.
