A top company official said that this will help build confidence among consumers about buying electric vehicles. Gurugram’s company has sold 53,000 electric two-wheelers in the last financial year. Apart from this, the company also intends to set up around 20,000 charging stations during the next two years. The company has already trained 4,000 mechanics. Also, till date, the company has installed around 1,500 charging stations.
Naveen Munjal, managing director of Hero Electric, said, “The electric vehicle sector in the country is ready to grow rapidly.” In such a situation, the company is taking steps to strengthen its capabilities in various business sectors. ”Munjal said that the company has 600 dealers and sub-dealers in the country. He said that the company has trained 4,000 mechanics sitting around the road. By 2023 or early 2024, we intend to increase it to 20,000.
Munjal said that apart from this, the company is also focusing on the charging structure. So far, the company has installed 1,500 charging stations. The company intends to make it 20,000. He said that we are adopting a multi-layered approach, so that customers can be assured.
Regarding the business plan, Munjal said that the company has a target of selling one lakh electric two-wheelers in the current financial year. This is almost double compared to the last financial year. In the last financial year, the company has sold 53,000 electric two-wheelers.
