DU 1st Cut-Off List 2021: All colleges of Delhi University (DU) on Friday released the first cut-off list for admission to undergraduate courses. The cutoff for admission to DU-affiliated Jesus and Mary College (JMC) and Hansraj College was released on Friday. In this, the cutoff of some subjects has been shown as 100 percent while in other subjects the cutoff is higher than last year.
Jesus and Mary College has released the cutoff percentage for BA (Hons) in Psychology which is 100 percent for those students whose best four percentile does not have this subject. At the same time, for students whose best four subjects include psychology, the cutoff for them is 99 percent.
Similarly, for taking admission for B.Sc (Hons) in Computer Science in Hansraj College, 100 percent marks are required, which is much higher than last year. Last year, 97.25 percent marks were required for admission in this course.
According to JMC College, students who want to pursue BA (Hons) in Political Science and do not have this subject in the better four subjects will require 99.75 per cent marks while others will require 97.75 marks. Last year, the cutoff for BA (Hons) in Political Science was 99 percent.
Similarly, the cutoff for BA (Hons) in Economics is 98.5 per cent while for commerce faculty students, 99 per cent will be required to pursue BA (Hons) in English subject. Thus, for admission in this subject, students of the Faculty of Humanities and Science will need to score 97 percent marks.
Hansraj College has fixed the cutoff for BA (Hons) in Economics, BSc (Hons) in Physics and BCom (Hons) this year at 99.75 per cent, 99.66 per cent and 99.75 per cent respectively.
Apart from this, Ramanujan has a first cutoff score of 99 per cent for BA Honors Applied Psychology. At the same time, the cut off score for admission to B.Com Honors is 98 percent. Whereas the cutoff score for B.Sc Honors Chemistry in Acharya Narendra Dev College has reached 97.66.
At the same time, the merit for BSc Honors Biomedical Sciences, BSc Honors Maths, BSc Honors Physics and BCom Honors program in the college is 97 percent. Apart from this, Deshbandhu College has also released the first cut off list for admission in the college. According to this, the cut off marks for BSc Physics is 98 per cent, while the lowest is 82 per cent for BA (Hons) Hindi.
