Supernatural actress Nicki Aycox has died on the age of 47.
Her demise was confirmed by her sister-in-law, Susan Raab Ceklosky, in a publish on Facebook.
She wrote: “My beautiful, smart, fierce, incredibly talented, and loving sister-in-law, Nicki Aycox Raab, passed away yesterday with my brother, Matt Raab, by her side.
“Nicki and Matt had a beautiful life collectively in California. She was positively a fighter and everybody who knew her liked her.”
Her sister-in-law additionally posted a set of pictures of Aycox, together with her along with her two sons and husband, {and professional} actor pictures from early in her profession.
Aycox had been identified with leukaemia in 2020 and had undergone chemotherapy and stem cell transplants.
Documenting her most cancers journey on Instagram, the actress had shared pictures and movies of her therapies in addition to her having fun with mountaineering and yoga as she fought the illness.
Her final Instagram publish, shared in March, was a brief video of her singing the Whitesnake hit Here I Go Again, with the message: “Do not attempt to sing 80’s music after taking high doses of chemo”.

The creator of the darkish fantasy drama Erik Kripke paid tribute to her on Twitter, writing: “Gutted to hear the great Nicki Aycox, our first Meg Masters, passed away. Too young.
“She was a delight and delivered traces like honey and venom. I marvel at how she made a easy phrase like ‘lacklustre’ legendary.”
Actor Jim Beaver, who played Bobby Singer in the show, added: “My first Supernatural episode was with Nicki. She was a terrific actress and a pleasant colleague. I’m so unhappy to listen to of her demise. Sleep effectively, my buddy.”
Born in Hennessey, Oklahoma, Aycox loved singing and enjoying the piano as a toddler.
Early TV appearances included third Rock From The Sun, Boy Meets World, Ally McBeal and The X Files, in addition to a recurring function in Providence.
