The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has removed 1557 recruitments for the posts of clerks in various banks across the country. These vacancies are derived for the year 2021-22. Selection of qualified applicants for clerk posts will be done through online examination. This examination will be conducted in December 2020 and January 2021.
Under this process, recruitment will be done in a total of 11 banks including Bank of Baroda, Canara Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, UCO Bank, Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Indian Bank And Punjab & Sind Bank. Applicants can apply online till 23 September 2020 to get the recruitment of clerk in all these participating banks.
What is merit?
Applicants for IBPS clerk posts must be Indian citizens. Along with this, the age limit has also been fixed, according to which the age of applicants should be minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years on 1 September 2020. This means that the applicant was not born before 2 September 1992 and not later than 1 September 2000. SC / ST category applicants will be given 5 years relaxation in age limit, 3 years for OBC category (non-creamy layer) applicants and 10 years for PWD category applicants.
For recruitment to the post of clerk, it is necessary that the applicants have a graduation degree in any discipline from any recognized university. It is also necessary that applicants know how to run and work on computers. Important dates for IBPS recruitment
Interested applicants for online recruitment of clerks in IBPS can register online by 23 September 2020. The last date to submit the application fee is also 23 September 2020. Call letters for pre-exam training can be downloaded from 17 November 2020. Pre-exam training will be conducted from 23 November 2020 to 28 November 2020. Call letters for the prelims exam will be available for download on 18 November 2020. The Preliminary examination will be conducted on 5, 12 and 13 December 2020. The result of this examination will come on 31 December 2020. Call letters for online Mains exam can be downloaded on 12 January 2021. This examination will be held on 24 January 2021. Provisional allotment will be given to the selected candidates on 1 April 2021.

Online examination will be conducted for the selection of qualified applicants for the posts of the clerk. This exam will be in two stages. In the first phase, the applicants have to pass the online prelims exam. Applicants who pass this exam will have to take the online Mains exam in the second phase. The Preliminary Examination will be a total of 100 marks. There will be 3 tests in which 30 questions of 30 marks of English language, 35 questions of 35 marks of numerical ability and 35 marks of Reasoning Ability will be asked. This exam will be of 1 hour i.e. 60 minutes.
At the same time, 4 tests will be taken in the Mains exam in which 50 questions of 50 marks of General / Financial Awareness, 40 questions of 40 marks of General English, 50 questions of 60 marks of Reasoning Ability and Computer Aptitude and 50 questions of 50 marks of Quantitative Aptitude. Will be asked This exam will be of total 200 marks and 160 minutes duration.

Interested applicants for IBPS clerk posts can register online by visiting the website www.ibps.in. Along with this, applicants will also have to submit an application fee of Rs 850. However, applicants of SC / ST / PWBD / EXSM category will have to pay an application fee of Rs 175. All applicants will have to deposit this fee online through debit card, credit card, internet banking, IMPS, cash cards or mobile wallets.
