Aditi took formal education or training in jewelery designing when she started a jewelery startup. Although she received a favorable response from her friends and family for the first few pieces of jewelery, the confidence level in her own business increased when she opened a chain of designer stores in Mumbai Kimaya Sent photos of her first jewelery line, which took her entire collection.
Since then, Aditi has offered her jewelery across India and in London, New York, Dubai and at jewelery shows. She started a business from her home in Ahmedabad by investing Rs 30 lakh from her savings. Aditi now employs around 35 artisans, has an in-house manufacturing workshop in the city and sources all their raw materials locally.

Aditi faced many challenges where she is today.
“All challenges have to be faced which are mostly internal. We usually limit ourselves. I was feeling guilt about leaving my children and doing something, ”says Aditi.
She was struggling with postpartum depression when she started in business. She explains that her energy was helped to create and start jewelery, as well as the support of her family to cope.
Two years ago, Aditi hit a rough patch. The lack of formal education in designing made him feel like a hitch and even as the business grew, Aditi has done diploma in Jewelery designing from Amore Institute in Ahmedabad. This helped them bring back two new lines to their brand – Argento in May 2019 and later in September to Uncut.
Dealing with an epidemic
The global epidemic has certainly affected consumer capacity and demand, especially for luxury goods such as jewelery. Aditi’s goals and sales targets were hit hard during the lockdown.
He used time to reverse the strategies and digitized the business as online shopping trends. Commenting on the current market conditions caused by the pandemic, Aditi says, “The pandemic has certainly changed the definition of running businesses. Right now I think there is someone who is good at making changes and there will be a winner who will make the change. ”
In the future, Aditi hopes to channelize her strategies to avoid brand building and the economic downturn caused by the epidemic.
