Who does not have the desire to touch Everest, the highest peak of the world. But will you hold back from fulfilling this dream just because of a nightmare? Kami Rita, who made a world record by touching Mount Everest not once or twice but 25 times, canceled plans to climb Everest for the 26th time simply because of a nightmare. Now he will try this next year. Kami Rita made the record of climbing Everest for the 25th time this month. After this, in the 26th attempt, he had climbed to more than half the height, but after that he canceled the climbing expedition. Returning to Kathmandu on Tuesday by helicopter from the mountain, Rita said, ‘I was trying (for the 26th time) and camp had reached three. But the weather got worse and I had a very bad dream. His wife, some friends and government officials arrived at the Kathmandu Airport to welcome him. But no celebration was held due to the lockdown.
Kami Rita said, ‘God was telling me not to go ahead and because I believe in God, so I decided to return.’ Rita did not say what she saw in the dream. Sherpa worships Everest as a goddess and follows religious rituals before climbing on it. Rita said that she will definitely attempt to climb Everest for the 26th time next year. He is 51 years old and in 1994 he climbed Everest for the first time. Since then, he has been climbing the highest mountain peak in the world almost every year.
No problem with corona virus
Rita and 11 other Sherpas reached Everest on 7 May and tied the ropes well so that other climbers could comfortably climb the icy dangerous path. Rita did not say anything about the Corona virus situation on Everest. Recently the Australian media claimed that more than 100 mountaineers and support staff have been infected by Corona. Nepal mountaineering officials have however denied this.
