The report released by the American intelligence fraternity regarding the ‘Unidentified Flying Object’ (UFO) has created a lot of excitement among the people in America. In such a situation, it should come as no surprise that many Americans believe that aliens exist in other worlds. This information has come to the fore through a survey conducted by the Pew Research Center, a think tank in Washington DC. This survey was done before the UFO report released on June 25.
According to the survey, about 65 percent of Americans believe that aliens exist and 51 percent say that UFO incidents seen by US Army soldiers are aliens coming to Earth. This report was released on the occasion of World UFO Day. This day is celebrated in memory of the alleged UFO crash in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. However, no one knows the alleged date of the Roswell crash. After this incident, the enthusiasm about UFO among the people had increased.
What did the survey results reveal?
For Pew’s survey, 10,417 American adults were questioned about aliens and UFOs. The survey found that 76 percent of people between the ages of 18 and 29 believed that aliens exist in the universe. At the same time, 69 percent of people aged 30 to 49 and 58 percent of people aged 50 to 64 also agreed with this. At the same time, 87 percent of the people surveyed believed that UFOs are not a threat to national security. However, why do they believe that UFOs are not a threat to national security. The people involved in the survey did not have a clear answer on this.
What was in the UFO report?
The long-standing report about UFOs was demanded by the Intelligence Committee of the US Senate. The committee requested an investigation into the Unknown Air Incident (UAP), which was to be assigned to the Director of National Intelligence and the Defense Minister. The order for this report was placed on 21 December 2020 and it was to be prepared within 180 days. At the same time, the Pentagon has released most parts of this new report. But some parts of it have still not been released to the public.
However, for the first time in this report, the US government acknowledged the existence of UFOs and it mentions 144 UFO incidents from 2004 to 2021. Of these, only one was identified as a weather balloon, the rest was not clearly known. But in this report, the relation of UFO to aliens has not been linked. But the release of this report by the US government is a big deal.
