Pakistan PM Imran Khan
Imran Khan on Kargil War: Kargil Vijay Diwas is being celebrated in India today. This is the same day when the Indian Army defeated the Pakistani Army in the year 1999. Since then, Kargil Vijay Diwas is celebrated every year to remember the sacrifices of the soldiers who were martyred in the war. Even when this war happened, the government of Pakistan was a puppet of the army there, so without informing the then Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, the then army chief General Pervez Musharraf had his soldiers infiltrated in Kargil, India. Imran Khan, the current Prime Minister of Pakistan, has also given his opinion in this matter. Although it was only his over acting.
When the opposition parties were calling Imran Khan a puppet of the army, he made such a statement to save his shame (Imran Khan on Kargil War). Imran Khan had said that if the Kargil war was fought with India without informing him, he would have sacked the army chief. Along with this, Imran Khan had said that if he was asked to resign, he would have also sacked the head of the intelligence agency ISI.
ISI chief asked to step down
In fact, three-time Prime Minister of Pakistan, Nawaz Sharif had said that in 2014, the ISI chief had asked him to step down as Imran Khan was protesting on a large scale in the capital. Imran said this about this. Then during the interview, Imran again started praising the same army, in whose hands he is a puppet. On the contrary, he criticized Nawaz Sharif and said that the army was tying the country together. Khan had said, ‘Look at Libya, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, the whole Muslim world is burning, why are we safe? Had it not been for our army, our country would have been divided into three pieces.
Pakistan spreads hands in front of America
The Kargil war started when the soldiers of Pakistan infiltrated the high hills of Kargil district of Jammu and Kashmir and made their bases there. India first explored these bases and then Operation Vijay was started. Earlier Pakistani soldiers were getting the advantage of war because they were at high altitude and were able to attack Indian soldiers easily. But it did not take long to roll the dice. Indian soldiers started driving Pakistan army. Earlier, Nawaz Sharif was not aware of the war, but when it came to know that the condition of his army was bad, he started asking the then President of America Bill Clinton to intervene. But even there he had to face his mouth. Clinton refused to intervene and asked him to withdraw his army from the LoC.
