Truck sinks in river after suspension bridge collapses
A truck crossing a suspension bridge in Russia sank into the river. Fortunately, the driver of the truck narrowly escaped in this incident. In fact, there was a flood in a river in eastern Russia, during which the water level of the river was very high. At the same time, the driver thought that he would cross this suspension bridge. In such a situation, he mounted the truck on the bridge, but the bridge broke halfway and the truck was submerged in the water of the river. This bridge broke due to the weight of the truck. On the other hand, the video of the incident is becoming fiercely viral on social media.
It has been told that this bridge is mainly made of wood. The concrete bridge was washed away in the earlier floods, after which this bridge was prepared. But the recent floods made crossing the wooden bridge a risky task even before the arrival of the truck. In the viral video, it can be seen that the truck is climbing over the bridge and then as it is moving forward, the bridge is tilting downwards. As the truck reached the middle of the bridge, the bridge broke down and eventually it fell into the river carrying the vehicle with it. The incident took place in the village of Uryum, which is located 3700 km east of the capital Moscow.

Now the villagers will build a new bridge
The driver’s life was saved in this dangerous incident, but his truck was not so lucky. He drowned in the strong current of the river. After this incident, the residents of Urayum village have become the most troubled, as they have no other way to cross the river now. In such a situation, they will have to build another bridge to cross the river. Not only the Urayum bridge has been damaged by the heavy rains in the recent past. Apart from this, many bridges have also been damaged.
So far more than 650 houses and five bridges have been washed away.
The flood also damaged a bridge on Russia’s Trans-Siberian Railway. A bridge also collapsed in the Zabaikalsk region, about 190 miles north of Russia’s border with China and Mongolia. No casualties have been reported in this incident. Since Thursday’s floods, 650 houses and five bridges have been washed away in the Zabaikalsk region, according to Russian news agency Tass. Floods have also caused havoc in China and many countries of Europe this week.
