Democratic Party MP Edward Markey said in a tweet, “We have all the resources to help the needy.” It is also our moral responsibility to help people in this way.
Edward Markey said, India has the highest number of corona virus infections in the world in a single day. Earth Day is for the betterment of the earth and everyone. America has more vaccines but we are refusing to provide it to countries like India. Speaker of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, MP Gregory Meeks said that he is worried about the situation in India due to the epidemic. Significantly, once again, there was an increase in Corona cases in India.

Stevens said, “I pray for the families facing the epidemic in India and urge the international community to coordinate so that people can be helped there.” Indian MP Ro Khanna shared a tweet by public health expert Ashish K Jha saying, COVID-19 is in terrible condition in India. People are also having difficulties in giving vaccine. Jha had said, the United States has 3.5 to 40 million additional doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine, which will never be used. Can we deliver them to India? This will help them.

Economist and epidemiologist Ramanan Lakshminarayanan has written in the ‘New York Times’ that India’s health structure has reached the brink of collapse with the second wave.
