DubaiTwo Indians killed in suspected drone strikes by Houthi rebels on Monday near Abu Dhabi airport have been identified. The Indian Embassy gave this information on Tuesday.
The attacks were followed by several explosions in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The embassy said that two Indians were among the six injured in the attacks. Both were discharged from the hospital on Monday night after treatment. Yemen’s Houthi rebels claimed a drone strike in Abu Dhabi on Monday. Two Indians and a Pakistani civilian were killed in this attack. The explosions were caused by ‘small flying objects’, which may have been drones, and fell on three petroleum tankers in Abu Dhabi.

The Indian Embassy in Abu Dhabi said on Tuesday that the two Indian nationals who were killed have been identified. He tweeted, “Indian Embassy officials in Abu Dhabi are in touch with their families. The missions are working closely with the UAE authorities, including ADNOC, to retrieve their bodies soon.”
However, his identity has not been revealed by the embassy. He tweeted, “Two of the six injured are Indian nationals. He was discharged last night after treatment. We thank the UAE Government, their Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the ADNOC Group for their support.” ADNOC (Abu Dhabi National Oil Company) is a state-owned oil company.
