New Delhi: Today i.e. 11th February is the birthday of the great scientist Thomas Alva Edison. Thomas Edison, who made his own identity around the world with his inventions, was born on February 11, 1847 in Milan, Ohio. It is said that, since childhood, he was somewhat different from ordinary children. Although Edison was very interested in experiments, for which he used to deposit money and do various new experiments. Thomas Edison, who invented the electric bulb, failed many times in trying to make the first electric bulb.
Succeeded in making the bulb in 1878
Thomas Edison, the owner of General Electric, finally succeeded in making the bulb in 1878, and after that he set up a lab in Menlo Park, New Jersey. This later became the foundation of General Electric. Edison took steps towards the manufacture of the bulb in the year 1878 and he achieved complete success in it almost a year later i.e. in 1879.
