Some 74% of respondents stated they have been dissatisfied with charging infrastructure.

The overwhelming majority of EV homeowners (84%) who use public chargers need the choice of paying by a contactless financial institution card, the survey additionally discovered.
Most cost factors require drivers to pay by means of an app.
Almost half (45%) of these questioned estimated that the closest public on-street cost level to their house is greater than a 20-minute stroll away.
Government urged to do extra

Many of these public EV charge points are operated by local councils.

“Councils need long-term financial support from Government so they can help ensure there are robust and accessible local charging networks to support our communities and businesses to adopt cleaner travel and tackle climate change.”
EV gross sales sluggish
