NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope has been photographing the universe for the last 31 years and sending it to Earth.

NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope was launched in 1990 and has been in operation since then. In its career of last 31 years, it has captured some of the best pictures of the universe in its camera and sent it to the earth. Through this, scientists have been able to know better about the universe and planets. In this case, let’s take a look at some of the pictures taken by the Hubble telescope.

Southern Crab Nebula: The Hubble team released this photo of the clock tower-shaped Southern Crab Nebula in 2019. The Southern Crab Nebula shows the beauty created by the uneven binary star system. In this system, one star has already exploded and it has turned into a white dwarf star.

Hubble Ultra Deep Field: This picture is of the farthest galaxies seen so far. There are about 10 thousand galaxies in this picture of Hubble Ultra Deep Field, which is located 10 billion light years away from Earth. Astronomers use these deep-space photographs to look back in time and study the origin and evolution of the universe.

The Well Nebula: The Well Nebula is the remnant of a large supernova, located 2,100 light-years from Earth in the constellation Cygnus. Astronomer believes that the Well Nebula was formed about 8,000 years ago by the explosion of a star 20 times larger than the weight of our sun. The air from the explosion gave the cloud its shape, due to which it looks like this.

Butterfly Nebula: Hubble first saw the bipolar nebula NGC 6302 in 2009. This is known as the Butterfly Nebula or Bug Nebula. This picture was taken with Hubble’s new Wide Field Camera 3. This was the first photo taken by Hubble of deep space through this camera.
6/11
Monkey Head Nebula: This photo, taken by the Hubble Telescope, contains a mixture of dust, gas, and stars, known as the Monkey Head Nebula. The Monkey Head Nebula is identified as a region where stars continue to form. It is located about 6,400 light years away from the Earth.
7/11
The Pillar of Creation: One of the most famous photographs taken by the Hubble telescope is from The Pillar of Creation, which looks like three giant trunks due to cosmic dust and gas. This picture was first taken in 1995, but after 20 years this picture was taken again through a new camera.
8/11
Whirlpool Galaxy: Looking at the Whirlpool Galaxy (NGC 5194), it looks like it is holding its small Galaxy companion NGC 5195 with its arms outstretched. Even though it seems that Whirlpool is swallowing the Galaxy NGC 5195, but it is passing by it. This photo taken by Hubble was released in 2005.
9/11
Crab Nebula: This color photograph of the Crab Nebula (NGC 1952) is one of the largest photographs ever made of the Hubble Space Telescope. The Crab Nebula is the remaining part of a supernova, which extends over a distance of six light years. Its distance from Earth is 6,500 light years. It is so bright that it can be seen from the Earth through a telescope.
10/11
Sombrero Galaxy: This photo, taken by the Hubble telescope, was released in 2017. This image of an edge of the NGC 4594 galaxy is also known as the Sombrero Galaxy. It shows a brilliant white core surrounded by thick dust.

Tarantula Nebula: This photo of the Hubble telescope shows a peculiar figure in the form of infrared light, known as the Tarantula Nebula. This area present in the universe is filled with groups of stars, bright gases and dust. This photo was released in 2014.
