Help for secondary school
Earlier, India provided a grant-in-aid of Rs 26.6 crore for the reconstruction of a secondary school started in Nepal. The three-floor building of Sri Kanti Bhairav Secondary School will also have 30 classrooms, libraries and laboratories, toilets and furniture. Central Building Research Institute (CBRI) Roorkee will provide technical facilities for the construction of this school. India will also provide 14.2 crore Nepali rupees for the renovation and conservation of three cultural heritage sites in the Kathmandu Valley.
New road also inaugurated
Last month, the two countries jointly inaugurated the 108-km-long new road (India Nepal New Border Road). Which connects the Indian border with many areas of this neighboring country. The Indian Embassy had told that a road built with Indian assistance connects the Indian border Laxmipur-Ballara to the Gadhaiya of Sarlahi district of Nepal. According to the statement of the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu, India’s grant assistance of Rs 44.448 crore was used for the construction of the road. Of course, some time ago, the tension between the two countries (India Nepal) started when the Nepal government had claimed many areas coming in the Indian border. But now relations seem to be normal.
