He was addressing a ceremony organized for David Barnea, the new head of Israel’s intelligence agency Mossad. Significantly, Iran has been accusing Israel of killing its nuclear scientists and sabotaging the Iranian nuclear facility.
Netanyahu’s statement came amid ongoing discussions on nuclear deal

However, Netanyahu says Tehran could develop nuclear weapons even if Iran rejoins the 2015 nuclear deal. Israel says that the deal should also take care that aid to Iran’s extremist groups should be stopped. Iran, on the other hand, maintains that its nuclear program is for peaceful purposes.
