Sweden Plane Crash: A major accident has happened on the outskirts of the city of rebro, Sweden. A small plane carrying a skydiver crashed here on Thursday night (Plane Accident in Sweden). Nine people have died in this accident. Police said the pilot and eight passengers were among the dead. The incident happened after 7 pm. The plane took off from rebro Airport, about 160 kilometers (100 mi) west of Stockholm.
Swedish Maritime Administration spokesman Karl Johan Linde told broadcaster SVT that the crash was linked to “flying”. Linde also monitors air traffic. The Swedish Accident Investigation Authority has sent a team to the site of the accident outside rebro. This place is 164 km from Stockholm. Earlier, the police did not give the number of dead, only said that several people have died and one injured has been taken to the hospital.

The wind speed was normal when the pilot tried to land it at a private runway just before 10 am. “While landing on the ground, the balloon suddenly got caught in the strong winds and the basket in which the passengers were traveling hit the ground,” the company said.
