Lviv (Ukraine): Russia’s attack on Ukraine continues. Meanwhile, a residential building has been targeted in the Kyiv region of Ukraine. One person was killed and three were injured when a shell hit a residential building in Kyiv, Ukraine, this morning, according to Reuters news agency.
Earlier on Monday, the head of the Kyiv region in Ukraine, Oleksiy Kuleba, said that Russian forces fired artillery shells overnight on Kyiv’s northwest suburbs and targeted several areas in the eastern part of the capital. Regional administration chief Oleksiy Kuleba told Ukrainian television that a city councilor from Brovry lost his life during fighting east of Kyiv.

Attacks were also reported overnight in the northwestern cities of Irpin, Buka and Hostomel. These areas have been the most attacked by Russia in an attempt to capture the capital Kyiv. The General Staff of Ukraine’s armed forces said on Monday morning that Russian troops had intensified attacks in the west over the past 24 hours.

The General Staff, marking the 19th day of the war, said in a statement on Facebook that Ukrainian forces were targeting Russian targets, targeting their military capabilities. He accused Russian forces of installing military equipment in churches and other civilian infrastructure so that the Ukrainian military could not retaliate.
