More than 16 million people have been infected so far
The COVID-19 global epidemic in India is continuously taking frightening form. After a record over 3.32 lakh new cases a day, the total infection cases have increased to 1,62,63,695. According to the statistics of the Union Health Ministry till Friday, more than 24 lakh people are still vulnerable to infection. After the death of 2,263 more people in the country, the death toll has reached 1,86,920. In the last 24 hours, 3,32,730 new cases have been registered in the country. So far 7,84,108 people have been infected in Pakistan, out of which 16,842 people have died.
